Happy New Year 2014 & Message From B’z
Hello everyone! I wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year! May this year bring you a lot of happiness and may your wishes come true. I would also like to thank everybody for their continued support of OFF THE LOCK and supportive messages you have sent me over the years.
Let’s see what 2014 has got in store for us… Tak Matsumoto’s new solo album will be released this spring and he will tour Japan in May and June. Perhaps some overseas dates in Hong Kong and Taiwan will get added to that tour. Time will tell. And there’s still time to release a new B’z album, too. As you know B’z is constantly working on new material, even when they’re touring. So I’m sure they’re currently in the final stages of production and will blow our minds away with some new songs soon.
Last but not least, here’s the annual new year message from B’z! Enjoy!
“Q&A” Music Video Now Available with Subtitles
The newest song by B’z, entitled “Q&A“, has started airing as the new opening to the anime series Detective Conan as of May 4th. “Q&A” is set to be released as part of B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012 — one of the two best-of compilations B’z is going to release on June 12th of this year. In addition to the song premiering on the anime series, B’z has also published a 90 second excerpt from their newest effort’s music video. (Be warned: It features a samurai warrior fighting multiple fierce ninjas. Brace yourselves!)
In addition, we also have the lyrics thus far, along with their accompanying translation, available on the B’z Wiki. For your viewing pleasure, we have taken the time to subtitle aforementioned music video made available by the band on their YouTube channel. Feel free to view it below and be sure to get in your pre-order for the two compilations due for release in just over a month!
Happy New Year 2013 from B’z!
As with every year, B’z has posted a message for their fans on the official fanclub’s website. B’z is now truly 25 years old as the band was founded in 1988. Look forward to those three upcoming LIVE-GYM releases and let’s see what the band has got in store for us this year!
We at OFF THE LOCK also wish you all the best and a happy new year!
