Get ready to welcome the musical fusion of rock legends! The iconic duo INABA/SALAS has just announced their 2025 tour schedule, titled “Never Goodbye Only Hello”.  In 2020, before their tour “the first of the last big tours” got canceled due to COVID, Koshi said “this could be our last tour” and this could be true for this tour as well….!

Furthermore, the tour title -Never Goodbye Only Hello- means that they are grateful to all the people they have met through their long years of musical activities, and that even if they can no longer meet, they can always meet in their own hearts. The concept is very INABA/SALAS-like: even if it is Goodbye in reality, we can only say Hello because we can see each other through our own hearts.

This tour promises an unforgettable experience, highlighting their unique blend of rock, funk, and blues. The duo, known for their vibrant chemistry and electrifying performances, is all set to captivate audiences with their new and classic hits. And perhaps we will get some new tracks as well, since there have been recent social media posts about on-going studio recordings.

Fanclub tickets will be available starting today, January 6, 2025 through the recently renewed B’z ticketing website, and fans are encouraged to enroll in the ticket lottery due to high demand. General sale in the usual outlets starts February 22, 2025.

Rumors Swirl: Could New INABA/SALAS Material Be on the Horizon?

The music world is buzzing with excitement as speculation mounts over the possible release of a new album and accompanying tour from dynamic duo INABA/SALAS. The rumors ignited from a series of social media posts that have fans wondering if there’s more to the story.

Stevie Salas, the celebrated guitarist and composer, has been fueling speculation for months. His frequent trips to Japan, documented meticulously on his social media accounts, have been a focal point of these rumors.

Adding fuel to the fire, bassist Matt Noveskey recently posted a tantalizing photo on Instagram featuring himself, Salas, and Kevin Gutierrez in the midst of a recording session at the renowned Assembly Line Studios. He explicitly mentioned “Tracking bass for INABA/SALAS”. The post has been edited to remove the mentioning of “INABA/SALAS” since.

INABA/SALAS, consisting of Stevie Salas and Koshi Inaba of B’z fame, are known for their explosive sound that seamlessly fuses rock, funk, and blues. Their last album, Maximum Huavo, was a testament to their musical prowess and creativity, receiving praise for its energetic and innovative tracks. Unfortunately, the accompanying tour that was planned for the album had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving fans disappointed but hopeful for future live performances.

The canceled tour left a significant gap in the live music scene, as many were eager to experience the dynamic combination of Inaba’s powerful vocals and Salas’s distinctive guitar work in person. This backdrop of anticipation heightens the excitement surrounding the current rumors.

While no official announcement has been made, the timing and nature of these posts have many convinced that the arrival of new material could be imminent. The potential for new music and live performances from this iconic pair is exciting not only for fans but for the rock and fusion genres as a whole.

The question on everyone’s mind: when will the duo break their silence and give us the confirmation we’re all waiting for? Until that day comes, fans will be glued to their screens, hoping for the next clue or hint that will bring them closer to new music from INABA/SALAS.
