New Song “WOLF” Featured in Suits Japan Remake
Another all-new B’z song titled “WOLF” will be used in the Japanese series Suits as the theme song. The drama, a remake of the U.S. series by the same title, had its first airing October 8 on Fuji TV with the song playing at the end.
No release date is announced for the song but it should appear on the 2019 studio album announced weeks ago.
B’z Pleasure in Hawaii Setlist (09.29.2018)
B’z have wrapped up their 30th year with a pair of fanclub-only performances in Hawaii. The show was performed over two days at two separate venues with the second also being streamed live to Japanese theaters.
The eighteen-song setlist included fan favorites from the anniversary tour that completed its run a week earlier but reshuffled. Most importantly, the shows featured the returns of numerous longtime fan requests. Some dated back to appearances 27 years ago.
The setlist has been posted below, no home video release has been announced at this time but it is possible the show could be packaged with an eventual release of B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2018 -HINOTORI- sometime next year.

Tak & Koshi Appear As Guest Performers at LOUDNESS Event
Tak Matsumoto and Koshi Inaba appeared as scheduled for the September 24 concert for another Japanese rock band, LOUDNESS.
The two have been associated for years and featured on each other’s works for a long time including their bassist Masayoshi Yamashita performing with Tak on his 2016 solo tour The Voyage. In a 2013 special live show, on the fifth anniversary of the band’s drummer Munetaka Higuchi‘s passing, B’z included a cover of the LOUDNESS song “Crazy Nights” in their own setlist.
For the LOUDNESS & FRIENDS event held today, Tak appeared on stage during “Crazy Nights” while Koshi appeared separately for “Crazy Doctor”. This was chosen because of it being a favorite of Koshi with footage existing of him covering it in his youth.
B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2018 -HINOTORI- Setlist (09.22.2018)
B’z wraps with B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2018 -HINOTORI- with two dates in Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium.
The band talked about their experiences in the past 30 years, starting from their first live performance in 1989 and guitarist Tak Matsumoto mentioning how thankful they are to B’z fans throughout all these years.
Two more T-shirts were produced exclusively for each day of the finale. September 21 consists of a red T-shirt with the numbers 321 and the word Pleasure visible. While the September 22 “Final” black T-shirt contains a picture of B’z with “LET’S ROCK HARD” listed underneath:
In addition, the band posted an image confirming that a new album is under production, with also a LIVE-GYM tour planned for 2019:
Finally, WOWOW has announced that the HINOTORI finale will be broadcast on WOWOW Prime on November 24, 2018.

B’z continues their latest tour B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2018 -HINOTORI- with three dates in Aichi Prefecture’s Toyota Stadium.
On the first day (September 6) of the Toyota Stadium performance, one song in the encore portion was cut. Vocalist Koshi Inaba apologized on stage, stating “I’m sorry I’m not in perfect condition”. On the second day (September 8), a total of three songs were cut. While on the third day (September 9), two songs were revived with only song cut again.

B’z performed on the second day in Fukuoka at Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome, as part of their tour B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2018 -HINOTORI- which is approaching its finale later this month.
On the second of the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome performance, due to persisting issues with vocalist Koshi Inaba’s voice, two songs were cut from the setlist.
