The fifty-second single from B’z, 「RED」, will be released on June 10th, 2015 in three editions. The regular single edition will contain only the CD, while the CD & DVD edition will come with the single and a special DVD containing the title song’s dedicated music video which features footage from B’z LIVE-GYM 2015 -EPIC NIGHT-. Lastly, for the first time, the band are also releasing a special edition that contains the CD single and a red and white themed wristband. You can now pre-order the single in any of its editions from the retailers listed below:

As was previously reported, a new B’z song entitled 「RED」 recently debuted as the mound theme for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp’s pitcher Hiroki Kuroda. Today, the official website revealed that the song would become the band’s 52nd single with a release date of June 10th, 2015. The song has also been played during the band’s most recent tour, EPIC NIGHT, as the Ending SE alongside another unreleased song as of April 17th.

Interestingly, the single will be only the second in their catalogue–the first since 1996’s 「Real Thing Shakes」–to feature only one track. The single will be released in three varieties: a CD edition that retails for only 650 Yen, a CD and DVD edition containing a special music video for 1000 yen, and a CD and special edition wristband for 1600 yen. The music video incorporates live footage from B’z LIVE-GYM 2015 -EPIC NIGHT- at Yokohama Arena, while the wristband is red and white in accordance with the colors of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.

B’z has finally kicked off another tour, and this time it’s an album tour in support of their latest album, EPIC DAY. Last time, I went to their 25th anniversary tour B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2013 -ENDLESS SUMMER-. My expectations were high, of course, as I am used to great shows by B’z. So this time I chose to attend one of their hall shows (should I get tickets!) and went with Yokohama Arena, as these shows were in a time frame where I had time to make a trip to Japan. I entered the ticket draw through the official fanclub, B’z PARTY, and bam!, I was lucky enough to get four tickets to the show on April 2nd. My friends, however, weren’t so lucky, but I could provide them with tickets so they could attend as well.
