B’z has today announced their first fanclub-only concert, possibly in preparation for their performance at the TV Asahi Dream Festival 2015 later this month. The show will be held at the Shinagawa Stellar Ball, where Koshi also performed during his solo tour in 2014. Tickets for this show are available only through the official B’z fanclub and only fanclub members are allowed to attend. Furthermore, face picture and ID are required for ID verification in order to enter the venue.

B’z To Perform At TV Asahi Dream Festival 2015

dreamfestival2015 The band has announced that it will be performing at this year’s TV Asahi Dream Festival, which celebrates its 5th anniversary this year. Their previous, and first, performance at the festival dates back to 2011. This year’s rendition of the festival is held from November 21-23 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. B’z will perform on the first day on November 21st. Tickets can be obtained through eplus from September 11 for 10,800 Yen per ticket.

The first two shows of the additionally announced shows have come to a close! Expectations were high for said shows, as fans were expecting these shows to potentially turn into a treasure trove for rarely performed songs. Koshi also made clear in an MC, why they added these shows: “There was a huge gap between shows after the Ajinomoto Stadium show, so we called the Zepp venues, and they happened to be free!”
Furthermore, a funny scene played out during the show at Zepp Namba: Tak told the audience to tell somebody if they’re feeling unwell. That somebody is going to come rescue them in that case. A fan in the crowd then shouted “Matsumoto-san! Please come rescue me!” to which Tak replied “I’m at work here… (laughs)”.

-epic night- Merchandise Revealed

The official merchandise for the upcoming B’z LIVE-GYM 2015 -epic night- shows has been announced. There will be one exclusive T-shirt featuring the -epic night- logo as well as Tak and Koshi. This T-shirt is sold exclusively at the B’z LIVE-GYM 2015 -epic night- shows, and will not be available for purchase at the stadium shows. Furthermore, only said T-shirt and the charity mug are available for purchase at the -epic night- shows. No further merchandise is available.

The T-shirt costs 2,500 Yen and is available in sizes XS,S,M,L,XL.

B’z Score 48th Consecutive #1 Single with “RED”!

With its first week on sale drawing to a close, it has been confirmed that “RED” has become the latest B’z single to debut at the top of the Weekly Oricon Singles charts in Japan. The single sold over 157,000 copies in its first week.

This extends their record of consecutive number one singles to 48 in a row, dating all the way back to the release of their first chart-topper, “Taiyou no Komachi Angel”, in June of 1990. The band’s nationwide tour titled B’z LIVE-GYM 2015 -EPIC NIGHT- is currently underway.

ROCKROCK, the famous rock bar in Osaka, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The bar has been visited by countless rock bands touring Japan, including B’z. They are celebrating the anniversary with a special show called 「ROCK BEYOND ROCK」 held at Zepp Namba in Osaka on July 7. Japanese heavy-metal band LOUDNESS was the first act to be announced to headline the show. Today, B’z has been added to the lineup! General sale starts June 20.
