Koshi and Tak’s “My Best Album 2012”
Koshi and Tak have set down with Japanese magazine “WHAT’s IN?” and shared their favorite albums in 2012. Interestingly enough, Tak’s #5 is one of his own works: Strings Of My Soul. That’s a rather odd choice. Why would he choose his own album as #5?
Here are Koshi and Tak’s favorite albums of 2012:
Tak Matsumoto
- Aerosmith / Music from Another Dimension
- One Direction / Up All Night
- The Derek Trucks Band / Already Free
- Adam Rogers / Sight
- Tak Matsumoto / Strings Of My Soul
Koshi Inaba
- The Big Pink / Future This
- Led Zeppelin / Celebration Day
- Soundgarden / King Animal
- Sakanaction / DocumentaLy
- Tak Matsumoto / Strings Of My Soul

Koshi listens to Sakanaction?! Wow…
Music From Another Dimension is really amazing, good choice of Tak.
Hmm, I listen to so much. Among my favorite albums were L’arc~en~Ciel – Butterfly and 西野カナ – Love Place. I also enjoyed Mini – エレクトハーコーバンバンピカソ.
One direction? On the other hand I’m not surprised, Tak likes bands like this. At the first sight I thought that Tak put his own album on 5th place because he was out of options, but then I saw that Koshi did the same 😛
I like their choices, it’s always interesting to see what your idols like listening to ^^
I gave Sakanaction’s DocumentaLy a try just because of this list. I had seen them on music station and thought they were decent. The album is pretty good.
I did exactly the same and I’m addicted to them since a couple of days, every track of the album is good and I’ll surely become a fan of the them now.
One Direction?! Well Tak is cool, so it’s okay I guess…
It’s Koshi’s fault I am really into Sakanaction at the moment…
I don’t buy albums anymore, just download the songs I like (legally of course!) Anyway the album I really liked was Emeli Sande’s Our version of events (for those of you who don’t know she was the person who sang at both the opening and closing ceremonies for the Olympics.) Her music is more soulful but there’s a lot of depth in her stuff 🙂
