Koshi’s upcoming home video release of his recent solo live tour 「Koshi Inaba Live 2016 ~enIII~」 is just around the corner and an official digest video has been uploaded to the official YouTube channel. The digest video also features the TV commercial that recently started airing. Furthermore, one can see that they have put a lot of work into the camera work and editing for this release compared to the livestream that was conducted on Hulu Japan.

Can you be more specific? Curious 🙂
Unfortunately, no. But the camera angles and their composition are just more thought out compared to the live broadcast. Other than that, the content is the same.
Okay, thanks!
It’s simply a different experience for me if I know that the editing team took their time to choose the best angles in every situation. If it’s live, you never know which angle is the best in the next moment, and I think that becomes apparent. In the live video, there were numerous scenes where I thought that the camera wasn’t where it should have been, which was rather irritating because I felt as if I hadn’t really been there.
It was the same with all the live streams from B’z. That’s why I bought the DVD edition of EPIC DAY on day one and hope that there’ll sometime be a few excerpts from the 2011 Los Angeles concert in better quality, if not the whole concert. I don’t know about Tak’s solo tour because I haven’t (can’t) watch(ed) the concert, but I assume it’s very similar.
That’s exactly the reason why I was hoping for a decent home video release from the start, and I’m happy that we’ll get it next week, even with a big bonus. I hope that we’ll also get a decent home video release of The Voyage, be it this fall or with Tak’s next solo album.
Watched the whole show. As expected, a completely different experience! Especially the band members received many cool shots. Best solo tour so far. So glad that they decided to release it on Blu-ray!
